I have a customer that has had some serious issues with a Vactor 2100 2 stage 13 yard. The HX package is pretty rudementary, with no reel, but the big issues have been with the Water Pump's surging action actually ripping the piping and lines from their mounts...

Also, they are about to add a cyclonic separator to prevent repeated mud clogs from the debris tank blow-by which have chewed the aluminum fan.

The way their fan is mounted lends itself to an unbalanced situation on the fan. They have spent THOUSANDS $$ and have finally decided to go with a Vac-Con 16 yard...

Has anyone else seen this kind of mayhem when a customer retrofits a 2100 for Hydroexcavation?
